It looks like Yahoo, Amazon, and Microsoft are closing the gap with Google in the search engine war.
Google's other beta products aren't very impressive. Example, Orkut is pure crap because it's based on Microsoft's .Net and it can't handle a huge load of requests. 80% of time you'll get a lame error message "no donut for you, blah blah..." What an idiot... I'm not really impressed with Froogle nor Gmail either. Gmail is annoying because they scan your emails and serve relevent sponsored links when you try to read your email message. Frankly, I don't really care for Froogle because I know exactly where to go for "frugal" deals and most the time it's either eBay or Craiglists.
Really, the only thing they have going for them right now is sponsored advertisement/text-based ads (with Adword and AdSense), but this has become an extremely crowded and competive market, so their parabolic growth curve is about to flat-line.
